our babies are sold while they are being hand fed. A $200 non-refundable
deposit will hold a baby for you until it is weaned. When the baby is weaned
and ready to go home with you the deposit will be applied toward the total
price and the balance must be paid prior to shipping. Deposits will be returned
only if the baby, for some reason can not be shipped to you.

The Parrot Playhouse guarantees the health of our babies for 72 hours. If
your avian vet finds a serious health problem with your baby that can not be
cured or would be to costly to cure, we will, at our discretion, replace the
baby with one of the same kind, or buy the baby back. We reserve the right
to get a second opinion at our expense. This guarantee is valid only if the
baby is checked by an avian vet within the 72 hour period and we are
notified immediately of the problem. Upon arrival of the baby we would like to
be notified immediately of any changes in the baby's health. We do not
consider a slight growth of gram negative bacteria after shipping to be a
problem. It is secondary to the stress of shipping.
We never take our babies to shows or subject them to birds outside our
facility. We are very serious about the health of our babies and do
everything possible to protect them. We are a closed aviary and do not show
our breeder birds to the public, this is for their protection.
We are located in Lumberton, NC. If you would like to save the cost of
shipping, we are 10 minutes from interstate 95. If you don't mind taking a ride
down the interstate you could save the cost of shipping!
